Genvex Heat Recovery, Ventilation & Domestic Hot Water

If you don’t require heat recovery ventilation but still want to get rid of the stale air and utilise the waste heat, choose a Vanvex extract ventilation heat pump, which will heat-up domestic water independently of your heating system.

You will end up paying around only one third of the energy cost of an electric thermostatically controlled heater. The heat pump will extract about 70% of the heat energy necessary for heating water from the extract ventilation rooms. Floor areas up to 250m² can be ventilated.

Vanvex is equally suited to internal installation in new and older buildings and will provide hot water for the average family of four, at a lower cost and a lower impact on the environment.

The appliance is slim and compact enough to fit through any door. It can be quickly and easily fitted by your installer without turning your home into a building site. You just need to have external wall break-outs to allow sufficient incoming fresh air to service the air extraction process.

Combi 185

Description

The Combi is a heating and ventilation appliance. Together with supply and extract air fans, there is a counter-flow heat exchanger which is 95% efficient. An air source heat pump can heat the air and domestic hot water. priority will always go to heating the water first. The hot water cylinder can be connected to a second heat source eg solar panels. There is an F7 pollen filter on the supply air and a G4 filter on the extract air. Controlling the Combi 185 is easy, with an Optima 310 EC controller.

Suitability

The Combi is normally used in dwellings up to 250m2 and is
capable of heating 185 litres of domestic hot water (enough for
a typical family of four).
